Computer Driven Test Machine
State-of-the-art testing equipment includes 4 computer-assisted
tensile machines having multi-range capability. Programmability allows
tailoring testing procedures and report formats to customer requirements.
Six sixty-thousand pound and one-hundred-twenty-thousand pound
capacity tensile machines are utilized to perform elevated and room
temperature testing, proof loading, prestressing, shear and compression
tests.
Impact testing is performed at
temperatures from 200° F. to minus 450° F. on standard specimens of all
configurations. The testing machine is certified annually by Defense
Contract Administration Services (DACS) in association with the Department
of the Army (Watertown Arsenal).
